Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College

Program Information

Have you dreamed of two goals in life; working with young people and working in agriculture? You can combine both goals through a career in Agricultural Education as a middle or high school teacher. Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College offers an Associate’s Degree in Agricultural Education that includes preparing students to transfer to UGA, FVSU or another university that offers a BS degree in Agricultural Education and is accredited to certify teachers.

ABACABAC blends academically rigorous classroom education with experiential learning delivered at our outdoor learning labs; Woodruff Teaching Farm, Forest Lakes Golf Course, ABAC Nature Study Area and field trips to the many agricultural businesses in the Tifton, GA area.

ABAC’s Collegiate FFA Chapter is very active at the state and national level. Members also benefit from working with the Southern Region State FFA Staff housed at ABAC. ABAC hosts district, regional and state FFA events that provide many volunteer opportunities for our Agricultural Education students.
